MedicineAu was established as an online journal of medicine in 1994.
Its motto has always been 'Sharing Knowledge'.
It was established by Tony Lembke and has been supported by the Northern Rivers Division of General Practice.

In 2008, MedicineAu moves from its old site http://www.medicineau.net.au and becomes a 'content aggregator' for medical practitioners.
